Development Update: Swamp Horror Progress and Steam Page for Eclipse of Eldergaard

As development continues, I’ve been working on two big areas recently, refining boss encounters in Clockwork Desolation: The Frozen Time and preparing a Steam release for Eclipse of Eldergaard. Both projects are moving forward step by step, and I’m excited to share some progress.

Updating the Swamp Horror Boss

In Clockwork Desolation, one of the key encounters is the Swamp Horror. Boss battles are meant to feel tense and a little better, and I’ve been focusing on making sure this fight delivers on that.

The Swamp Horror has now been updated with improvements that make it feel more alive and challenging. While the boss isn’t fully finished yet, it’s much closer to the kind of intense fight I want players to experience, one that requires quick reflexes, resource management, and smart decision-making.

The coding for this boss has been tougher than some of the earlier AIs, but that effort is worth it. The more complex the process, the more depth and uniqueness the final battle will have.

Steam Page Progress for Eclipse of Eldergaard

Alongside AI development, I’ve also been working on the publishing side. I’ve completed my Steam developer account setup, and I’m currently in the process of creating the Steam page for Eclipse of Eldergaard.

This marks an important milestone. Having a game page on Steam is more than just a formality; it’s a place where players can wishlist the game, follow its progress, and soon download the full game. It’s one step closer to making Eclipse of Eldergaard available to the wider gaming community.

Once the page is live, I’ll be sharing the link so anyone interested can check it out and support the project.

Step by Step Forward

Game development, especially as a solo dev, is a journey of many small steps. Some are technical, like building AI systems, and some are administrative, like setting up store pages. Both matter, and both bring the projects closer to being real, playable experiences for players.

Thanks to everyone following along so far. Your support helps keep me motivated as I keep building, testing, and pushing forward.

Stay tuned for more updates and for the upcoming launch of the Eclipse of Eldergaard Steam page.
